Art Space: ACM SIGGRAPH Art Gallery 2014

摘要

Translation, as a term and as a tool, generates plenty of potential disconnected trajectories for art production. These fields have the ability to cover and merge with other fields of knowledge, including global and local societal developments, processed by the works in the Art Gallery of SIGGRAPH 2014. 'Acting in Translation' concentrates on strong content and criticality, conveyed through the use of advanced technologies, to provide a deeper insight into the relationships within art, science, technology, research and societal developments. It aimed to revolve around the readings, responses and perceptions of 'the act of translation' as a productive tool based on criticality.
