In February 2016, Boeing launched its passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programme for the 737-800 aircraft.This was the most recent addition to an increasingly crowded P2F conversion market for current-generation narrowbody aircraft.Taken in conjunction with the introduction of the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX, these programmes have promoted uncertainty with regard to accurately forecasting the residual value of mid-life current-generation narrowbody aircraft.
