Olivier Legrand, President of the REVIMA Group, says 2019 was a good year for the company. Landing gear overhauls hit an all-time high, with over 400 legs passing through the facility. APU work was flat, which had been expected but, at over 500 units, this was a more than respectable number. This year, which was also expected to be another high growth year, kicked off with one significant contract win and a new collaboration. The first was a six-year exclusive contract with Sharjah-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia for 40 shipsets of Airbus A320 landing gear. The second was a collaborative agreement with Malaysian Airlines to provide landing gear replacement services for REVIMA customers at the airline's hangar in Kuala Lumpur. In turn, REVIMA would support landing gear overhaul services for the airline's MRO customers at any of its facilities.
