摘要

Talent intelligence is the understanding that businesses have of the skills, expertise and qualities of their people. It is something that every company and manager has and uses. And it is essential because companies can only make good talent decisions if they know what they need, what they have and what is available. We were inspired to write this book because our experience, from working with organizations across the globe, had shown us that the challenge with most companies' talent intelligence is that it just is not that intelligent. Either companies are not generating a good understanding of the capabilities of their people, or they are not then using that information to inform their broader talent management, leadership development and learning activities.
