Mozambique kick-started its ambitious water reform agenda this month with a trio of tenders, and the formal launch of its io-year, $3.1 billion water investment programme at a high-profile conference on 15 September. President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, who addressed the conference, said that the 2022-2032 investment programme and the sectoral reforms were the country's "long-term response to the twin challenges of urban population growth and climate change".
