Saudi PPP body commits to water asset sales

Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its commitment to the privatisation of the water sector, after a disappointing set of bids threatened to derail the flagship sale of the world's largest desalination plant. The Kingdom's National Center for Privatization (NCP) this month reissued an updated manual for its water-dominated privatisation programme, which outlines dozens of water projects to be pushed out between 2021 and 2025.
