Special announcement from The Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists

Three months after Edward H. Angle’s death in 1930, his former students and other orthodontic luminaries of the day were compelled to reorganize the Angle Society, which had been initially formed in 1922 when Angle reigned supreme. The original society disbanded briefly at the time of Angle’s death, but was deftly reorganized in Chicago by a group of men and women with a common dedication to and respect for Angle’s memory and ideals. The central body of the society was subsequently divided into seven geographic components, each serving as an entrance opportunity for those applicants sufficiently motivated to join. Membership is still available to any deserving candidate who meets the society’s educational and admissions criteria.
