202: G&SWR routes serving Greenock, Paisley and Renfrew

The Glasgow & South Western Railway's vast Glasgow (St Enoch) terminus was the starting point for trains to distant locations such as Largs, Ayr, Stranraer, Kilmarnock, Carlisle and beyond, but closer to home there was a network of largely urban routes and their operation included many medium distance passenger duties. Here we look at the lines in the vicinity of the River Clyde and even to the edge of it, including the route to Greenock Princes Pier with its boat train work and latter day operation only as far as Kilmacolm, that through Corkerhill and Paisley (Canal), the Glasgow & Paisley Joint line (G&SWR and Caledonian) and the Paisley & Renfrew Railway.
