摘要

Introduction: Infections remain a major cause of mortality and morbidity among kidney transplant (KT) recipients. The benefits of treating asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) in the early post-transplant period is uncertain. Treatment of ASB lead to emergence of multidrug resistant bacteria which can be circumvented if there is no added benefit. There is paucity of literature on the outcomes of ASB in kidney transplant recipients with a normal urinary tract.
