Lumbar disc herniation is one of the most common diseases in orthopedics. Endoscopic technique is one of the most widely used surgical methods. In recent 10 years, percutaneous transluminal endoscopic discectomy (PTED) has been able to complete the resec- tion of protruding disc under local anesthesia.
