Heading Down the Green Path: How Can We Continue to Improve Our Annual Meeting's Sustainability Efforts?

If you attended the AALL Annual Meeting and Conference in Seattle, you probably noticed the beautiful weather. But did you notice the water cups in the Exhibit Hall? As a sustainability "nerd," a sometimes overly analytical researcher, and workplace green office committee chair, I did. I guess looking for and noticing signs of progress in the area of sustainability is part of my nature. From the city streets to the convention center and the host hotel, signs of sustainability in action were everywhere in Seattle.
