The International Journal of Forest Engineering encourages submission of review articles that provide a broad perspective on topics of current interest to the forest engineering community. The intent of a review article is to provide a critical evaluation of previously published information. Review articles must identify key results, theories, methodologies and draw conclusions from a range of sources and contrast these to draw general conclusions. A review article summarizing a seminar series must synthesize the knowledge presented in a form that is consistent with the scope of the seminar series, considers the information presented in a wider context, and sum- marizes its scholarly contribution. For further assistance in preparing a review article please refer to the Taylor and Francis Author Services guidance, Writing a Review Article (https://authorservices.taylorandfrancis.com/writ ing-a-review-article/). The scope and manuscript review process for a review article is no different than current scientific submissions to IJFE with a double-blind review process.
