摘要

Micro-hydro power generation is a key technology in the future renewable energy based society. This paper reports a laboratory experiment and a feasibility study in case that small power generators are set in pipes of drainage water system. Several types of rotors are fabricated by a 3D printer and installed in a micro scale experimental set. Experimental results show that 39.6% of efficiency can be very likely achieved without MPPT control. Using the efficiency value, expected output power of the study system is evaluated which will be installed in a university building of 11 stories.
