Familial cluster of pneumonia and asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infec- tion from Wuhan, China, since December 2019, has been a public health emergency of international concern as it has spread from China to the world, including Taiwan. 1,2 Since May 11, 440 cases have been reported in Taiwan. We report the first four-member familial cluster of COVID-19 in Taiwan. The parents had pneumonia (patient A, father and patient B, mother), one son (patient C) had mild cough, and the other son (patient D) was symptomless.
