Dr. VengalIpe Varghese, born in the year 1955 hails fromthe beautifullands ofthe God's OwnCountry, Kerala. Heisa native ofThiruvananthapuram, thecapitalcity ofKerala. Dr Ipe graduated his Dental degreein the year 1977 and Master's degreeinOralPathology in the year 1986 fromthe Government DentalCollege,Trivandrum. Hejoined the Kerala Governmentservicein 1979 and after serving in various postseventually retired as Principal, Government DentalCollege, Calicut. Itis worthmentioning herethat, during his tenure, he was instrumentalin starting the postgraduate master's degree programinOralPathologywithin thestatein theGovernment DentalColleges, Trivandrumand Calicut. Heis one ofthe dental professionalwho was fortunateto reach the prestigious posts including the Controller ofExaminationsand the Registrar, Kerala University ofHealth Sciences. Currently, heis working as Dean at P.S.M. College ofDentalSciences, Thrissur, Kerala.
