Autologous esophageal mucosa with polyglycolic acid transplantation and temporary stent implantation for the prevention of esophageal stenosis after circumferential endoscopic submucosal dissection

A 53-year-old man underwent circumferential endo-scopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in our hospital for asuperficial esophageal neoplasm 10 cm in circumferenceand approximately 29 to 39 cm from the incisors. To pre-vent postoperative esophageal stenosis, we performed im-plantation of autologous esophageal mucosa withpolyglycolic acid (PGA) and placed a temporary stent tofill the artificial ulcer in the esophagus.
