摘要

Background and Objective:Progressive collapse resistance of the steel moment-frame with composite floor slabs can be assessed by sudden column loss scenarios. In order to investigate the progressive collapse-resistant capacity of the steel moment-frame with composite floor slabs, a simplified approach based on the theory of membrane action and energy equilibrium principle is presented, which assessed the behaviour of progressive collapse resistance of this frame subjected to the removal of a penultimate column via the static and dynamic analysis.
