The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in the palatal form in patients treated with and without premolar extractions. Records collected at pretreatment and at bracket removal. Stone casts were measurements with a 3-dimensional digitizer and after the measurements and statistical operations, there are differences in the palatal form and some changes in the angulation of upper first molars. Almost, the palatal form was changed by increasing of sagittal palatal form and vertical between pretreatment and bracket removal in the non-extraction group. In the extraction group, decreasing of sagittal palatal form and vertical between pretreatment and bracket removal. In non-extraction group, there are a distal tipping in upper first molars. In extraction group, there are a mesial tipping in upper of first molar.
