Profile of Dr. Zi-Jiang Chen

Dr. Chen received her bachelor-equivelent medical educationat School of Medicine Shandong University (previouslythe Shandong Medical College), and got her MD–PhD in1989 majoring in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As theyoungest professor in the school’s history, Dr. Chen joinedthe faculty of School of Medicine Shandong University,where she was promoted to full professor in 1993 and hascontinued to work there ever since. Between 1996 and 1999,Dr. Chen fisrt worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation(USA) as an International Scholar, and then as a postdoctoralfellow at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). From1999 to 2005, Dr. Chen served as faculty at the Departmentof Medicine CWRU.
