This is a reflective theoretical essay that aims to present, through the analysis of ILO recommendations, notes to encourage thoughts upon the practices carried out by occupational therapists, working in the Work Field, in coping with COVID-19. A qualitative analysis of the documents was carried out and the discussion was made in the light of the theoretical-practical foundations of the area. The reflections show the impacts on the social and health protection of workers and working conditions during the pandemic. Occupational therapeutic intervention occurs within the scope of public assistance and policies, being individual and collective, immersed in social context.
