SAT-291 FUNGAL PERITONITIS IN PERITONEAL DIALYSIS PATIENTS: A 5-YEAR REVIEW, SINGLE CENTRE EXPERIENCE

Introduction: Fungal peritonitis (FP) remains one of the feared com-plications of peritoneal dialysis (PD). As compared to bacterial perito-nitis, FP leads to higher morbidity, which results in a higher number ofcatheter removal and conversion to long-term hemodialysis. Weroutinely prescribe syrup Nystatin as antifungal prophylaxis in allpatients treated for bacterial PD peritonitis since early 2018. In thisstudy, we analysed the incidence, risk factors and outcome of patientswith FP over the past 5 years.
