摘要

Introduction: Recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) effectivelyinhibit epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and decrease tubu-lointerstitial fibrosis (TIF) in unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO)-induced mouse model of renal fibrosis. Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived microparticles (MPs) act as vectors of vital information thatpromote renal repair in acute kidney injury models. We investigated theinhibitory effects of EPO mRNA enriched microparticles (hEPO-MPs) onUUO-induced renal fibrosis in vivo and transforming growth factor(TGF)- b 1 induced EMT in Madin-Darby canine (MDCK) cells in vitro.
