In the context of the construction and development of green towns, in order to solve the problems of the total energy consumption and energy intensity of public buildings in the construction of green towns, this paper proposes an energy analysis and growth trend forecast based on regression analysis. In this method, the characteristics of public buildings and public buildings in green towns are analyzed firstly. Then, in the mathematical methods of forecasting and analyzing the growth trend of energy consumption in public buildings in green towns, theoretical models and regression prediction methods are constructed. Finally, based on the data of urbanization rate, public building area and total energy consumption, the paper analyzes all aspects of green building area and energy consumption, and analyzes the growth trend. It can be seen from the model verification results that the prediction of public building area or energy consumption is small and the prediction result is more accurate.
