In the title compound, C 14 H 13 NO 2 S 2 , the rhodanine ring and the 3-meth-oxy-benzyl-idene ring are nearly coplanar, as indicated by the dihedral angle of 1.77?(6)° between their planes. The allyl group is nearly perpendicular to the rhodanine ring, with a dihedral angle of 83.64?(19)°. An intra-molecular C—H?S inter-action forms an S (6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of C—H?O hydrogen bonds into inversion dimers.
