In the title compound, [Fe(C 17 H 12 Br) 2 ], the Fe II atom is sandwiched between the eclipsed five-membered rings, with Fe?ring centroid distances of 1.649?(3) and 1.652?(3)??. In one of the ligands, the Br atom is disordered over two locations [site occupancies = 0.839?(2) and 0.161?(2)].
