A 63-year-old female patient with total hip arthroplasty(THA) presented at our clinic with a massive swelling of theright hip joint. 13 years ago, cementless THA with an aluminaceramic-on-ceramic bearing (Biolox forte, CeramTec GmbH,Plochingen, Germany) had been performed due to advancedosteoarthritis.
