摘要

NHS 111 is a telephone-based advice service that employs nonclinical call-handling staff to triage calls using computerisedclinical decision support software. The safety of the service iscontested, particularly for children and younger people, andthere have been concerns that its introduction has increasedemergency department utilisation. We examined predictors ofemergency department attendance among out-of-hours NHS111 callers.
