摘要

Thrombotic microangiopathies (TMAs) are a group of rareconditions representing medical emergencies, with a high mortalityif left untreated. Acute management is challenging and requiresurgent multispecialty input to stabilise the patient and arrangelife-saving treatment. Teams come under high pressure to managecritically unwell patients, where delays in management cansignificantly affect patient outcome.
