Thispaperpresentsamagneticallylevitatedelectromagneticvibrationenergyharvesterbasedonmagnetarrays.Ithasanonlinearresponsethatextendstheoperatingbandwidthandenhancesthepoweroutputoftheharvestingdevice.Theharvesterisdesignedtobeembeddedinahipprosthesisandharvestenergyfromlowfrequencymovements(5Hz)associatedwithhumanmotion.ThedesignoptimizationisperformedusingComsolsimulationconsideringtheconstraintsonsizeoftheharvesterandlowoperatingfrequency.Theoutputvoltageacrosstheoptimalload3.5kΩgeneratedfromhipmovementis0.137Voltsduringwalkingand0.38Voltsduringrunning.Thepoweroutputharvestedfromhipmovementduringwalkingandrunningis5.35μWand41.36μWrespectively....
