(1)The preventive effect against carbonation is higher whencoated with the coating materials.(2)If carbonation has already progressed, the effect of suppressingrebar corrosion is low even they were coated.(3)The corrosion tested by corrosion-corrosion indicatormethod proceeds only in the carbonation promoting area of theconcrete.
