The dispute between Cameroon's former urban water service utility Camerounaise des Eaux, asset-holding company Cameroon Water Utilities (Cam-Water) and the government of Cameroon is set to be examined by the World Bank's International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes at the end of January. The African Development Bank has approved a $124.2 million loan to Nigeria. The loan will finance the Urban Water Sector Reform programme, which will establish a water and sanitation investment programme to scale up the National WASH Action Plan 2018-2030. It will also finance the Akure Water Supply and Sanitation Project (Ondo State), which seeks to improve water and sanitation services to 1.3 million people.
