Beleaguered Singaporean developer Hyflux has transferred the remainder of the EPC contract for its TuasOne waste-to-energy project to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Meanwhile, Aqua Munda, the Singaporean entity which has offered to buy Hyflux debt, has committed S$208 million (US$154 million) to the purchase, and has extended the expiry date of its invitation of offers to 31 January. Singaporean water treatment company Darco has proposed a S$6-5 million ($4.8 million) private placement of equity to three Chinese investors. The placement will make up 16.2% of the company's enlarged share capital.
