Correlative evaluation of the measurements of experiment skill

Practice experimental skills are important for students at technical colleges, and it is necessary to visualize experimental skills by evaluating student achievement. In this research, experimental evaluation sheets and skill sheets have been used to clarify the metrics of experiment and indicate student achievement level. The questionnaires using rubric for experimental skills were sent out, and evaluation performed by lecturers and students at Tsuruoka Colleges, Japan was collected. Comparing evaluation between lecturers and students, the utility of experimental skill sheets and the importance of evaluation sheets have been examined. Further, a visualization has been developed, that represents the skills of students, so that lecturers are able to improve their guiding of students.
