The Impact of Computer Components in Enhancing the Quality of Teaching and Learning Process in Universities

In recent years the integration of technology and computers in the teaching and learning process is increasingly becoming an integral part of the educational system. This trend has begun to expand in primary and secondary education, but is currently more pronounced at the university level. This does not mean that teaching and learning as a social process in general, tends to be effectively replaced by the technology. But, on the contrary, the technology can service the educational process in many different ways.In this paper we explored the impact of computer components in the context of enhancing the quality of teaching and learning process. A case study was conducted in three universities in R. of Macedonia. Through the conducted survey, and the use of statistical and analytic methods, it is assessed the current situation of the use of the components in question and are extracted the findings and recommendations related to the activities that need to be undertaken to enhance the quality of teaching and learning as well as installing computer components in order to serve the general trend of technology integration in the teaching and learning process.
