ABSTRACT A bidentate Schiff base Salicylidene-sulphamethoxazole synthesized from sulphamethoxazole and salicyladehyde, form stable complexes with organyltellurium(IV) trichlorides and diorganryltellurium(IV) dichlorides of the type Sal-SMZ.RTeCl2 and Sal-SMZ.R2TeCl (where R = 4-methoxyphenyl, 4-ethoxyphenyl, 4hydroxyphenyl and 3-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl and Sal-SMZ = Schiff base).
