ABSTRACT The intake of Nicotiana tabacum is on the increase globally. Biochemical and histological analysis were conducted to determine the effects of Nicotiana tabacum on the liver enzymes of albino Wistar rats. Twenty rats, divided into four groups (A, B, C and D) of equal rats were fed with rat chow and water. Groups B, C and D were treated with 4mg/kg, 6mg/kg and 8mg/kg of Nicotiana tabacum respectively.
