ABSTRACT Ethical and legal expectations are associated with the standard practices of healthcare professionals. The present research was carried out to study the perceptions and practices of nursing professionals towards healthcare ethics in hospitals of a medical institution in coastal South India. The study participants were administered a semi-structured questionnaire about their perception and practices of healthcare ethics. The responses of the participants were collected on a five point L.
