ABSTRACT A study has been conducted to find out how the morphological properties, phase composition and ultimate composition of Ti1-AlN coatings applied to samples made of tool steel under various process conditions of pulsed magnetron sputtering influence their corrosion and electromagnetic behaviour in 0.3% NaCl solution.
