摘要

ABSTRACT The role of widely used disintegrant, L-HPC LH-11, in modulating the dissolution behavior of poorly water-soluble BCS Class 2 drug remains to be explored. The objective of the present study is to promote fast disintegration, rapid and complete release of Carvedilol from tablets by including low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose. To improve aqueous solubility, the technique of solid dispersion in ternary hydrophilic carrier system of PEG 6000-Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose (HPMC)-Tween.
