ABSTRACT Shade dried leaves of Ficus mollis (Vahl) were extracted using Petroleum ether (60-800) and investigated for the hepatoprotective activity. The activity was tested in wistar albino rats at dose level of 250mg/kg, orally and compared with silymarin (100mg/kg) as standard. At the end of the study period the rats were sacrified and serum biomarkers like ALT, AST, ALP, Bilirubin and total protein levels are measured in CCl4 induced hepatotoxicity in rats and hepatic tissues are subjected t.
