with the development of the times and scientific progress, multimedia and network has been widely used in College English teaching. This paper analyzes the advantages of network and multimedia technology in College English teaching practice, and puts forward that teachers should use network teaching method in College English teaching, to enhance the efficiency of English learning and students' English ability and improve the quality of College English teaching.Key words: network and multimedia technology / College English teaching / application
