The application of energy-saving multimedia technology in college spoken English teaching

With the development of energy-saving multimedia technology, computers and network are widely used in college spoken English teaching. Through the vivid and imaginative pictures, beautiful sound and cartoons, we college and university English teachers can use energy-saving multimedia technology to bring students' ears, eyes, mouths and others sensory organs into full play and create a very good English learning environment for them. In this way we can mobilize their initiative to learn spoken English and improve the teaching result and efficiency. In this article, we analyze the present situation of students' learning spoken English, expound the advantages of utilizing multimedia technology to carry out college oral English teaching and put forward some concrete and effective measures to improve students' ability of spoken English.
