Influenza activities in Indonesia in 2010-2011

摘要

Background: Since 1975, Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia acted as a National Influenza Center (NIC) for Indonesia which has role to monitor circulating Influenza strains in Indonesia and participating in WHO consultative meeting for Influenza vaccine strain. Recently, Ministry of Health develops the join network of 24 Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in 24 provinces from the diverse regions of the country to conduct ILI (Influenza Like Illness) surveillance.
