The aim of this paper is to present an interactive fuzzy goal programming approach to determine the preferred compromise solution to Tri-level linear programming problems considering the imprecise nature of the decision makers' judgments for the objectives. Using the concept of goal programming, fuzzy set theory, in combination with interactive programming, and improving the membership functions by means of changing the tolerances of the objectives provide a satisfactory compromise (near to ideal) solution to the upper level decision makers. Two numerical examples for three-level linear programming problems have been solved to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach. The performance of the proposed approach was evaluated by using of metric distance functions with other approaches.
