摘要

A new synchronous-reference-frame (SRF)-based control method is proposed in this project .It compensate power-quality (PQ) problems through a three-phase fo ur-wire unified PQ conditioner (UPQC) under unbalanced and distorted load conditions. The proposed UPQC system can impro ve the power quality at the point of common coupling on power distribution systems under unbalanced and distorted load con ditions. The main problem in the power distribution system is voltage sag, voltage swell and load reactive power compensation, to compensate these problems we are using in this project a power electronic device i.e., UPQC-S(Unified power quality conditioner). S means complex po wer. i.e., vector sum of active and reactive power. UPQC is a flexible ac transmission system. It is co mbination of series and shunt converters
