Currently on the market mo st of the image acquisition system are based on DSP. These image acquisition system's are high cost, great power consumption, and volume restriction, due to these limitations which dsp processors are not suitable for so me simple applications. With the development of image processing technology, image acquisition system which based on ARM is more and more popular. Every where commo nly used image compression technique is jpeg. So implementation of such jpeg decoder is more useful. Using these jpeg decoder one can decode jpeg images of any co mpression ratio can decode the jpeg images and displays output on TFT LCD display. This paper developed such jpeg decoding algorithm o n ARM processor. Which is portable and efficient as well
