摘要

The transient stability of a multi-machine power system integrated with a wind farm and superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) unit is studied here using a sensitivity based index. Doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind farm is considered for the study. The index is based on the terminal voltage of the wind farm. The study is carried out with variable speed wind profiles of different penetration level in MATLAB platform.
