Modeling, Application of A New Tourism Resources Assessment: Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method

During the tourism development, natural and cultural resources play a fundamental and capital role. Tourism resources assessment is one of the main focus of recent tourism studies, and it is a necessary condition for the management and sustainable development of regional tourism. This paper is based on the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, builds a new model for compre-hensive assessment of tourism resources, combines local authority tourism planning, analyses the tourism value and developing value of re-gional resource, and applied in a tourism city of Qionghai, Hainan, to provide scientific basis for local tourism development. As a result, this paper provides a qualitative and quantitative analysis and classification of 16 Qionghai tourism attractions into 5 levels, and discusses the merit and shortage of the local tourism development, while gives some suggestion of further development and focus .
