Empirical Study on Income Distribution of Rural Tourism Community Residents in Southwest Ethnic Regions: A Case Study of the Tourism Community of Ancient Huang Yao Town in Hezhou, Guangxi

The ancient town tourism as a main type of rural tourism has become a common concern. However, in the process of tourism development, community residents’ income distribution gap becomes great bottleneck. On the basis of sample survey of Huangyao village residents’ distribution of rural tourism income and tourism employment, the author analyzed the main types of the community residents to participate in tourism employment, family status and its influencing factors. The results show that there is a great gap among ancient town tourism community residents. The Gini coefficient of the family that took part in rural tourism was 0.5922 in 2015. Community residents who engaged in traditional agriculture and the degree of education had led to the results.
