Based on the principle of energy analysis, we introduced the expression of energy relations of single degree-of-freedom system and the expression of energy response of multi-degree-of-freedom system. Then the model source is introduced, and the basic parameters of the model are explained. Finally, the finite element analysis of the model was carried out. The parameters of the structure were obtained by using the traditional response spectrum. The capability of the model was analyzed by MIDAS finite element software. The performance of the model under the frequent earthquakes and rare earthquakes was analyzed. The final results were deduced in the way of energy.
